We LOVE hummus in our house and sure it's easy to buy at the store, but making your own is always so much better!
Servings: 2.5 cups
- 1 clove garlic chopped
- 1 can garbanzo beans, half the liquid reserved 19 ounce can
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tsp salt
- black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
In a blender or food processor, chop the garlic.
Add garbanzo beans, lemon juice, tahini, and salt.
Blend until creamy and well mixed.
Transfer the mixture to a medium serving bowl.
Sprinkle with pepper and pour olive oil over the top.
