- 2 loaf pans
Ingredients
Bread
- 3 c all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- 2 ¼ c granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 ⅙ c oil
- 1 ½ c milk
- 1 ½ tbsp poppy seeds
- 1 ½ tsp almond extract
- 1 ½ tsp vanilla
- 1 ½ tsp butter flavoring
Glaze
- ¼ c orange juice
- ¾ c sifted powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp almond extract
- ½ tsp butter flavoring
Instructions
Bread
- Combine eggs, oil, milk, poppy seeds, almond extract, vanilla extract, and butter flavoring.
- Mix together for 2 minutes.
- Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
- Bake 45-60 minutes, or until top is golden brown. (Start checking at 45 minutes)
- Let sit 5 minutes.
- Poke holes with fork.
Glaze
- Blend orange juice, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract, and butter flavoring.
- Pour over loaves.
- Let stand 5 minutes then remove from pans.
- Enjoy!
